120 Minutes

5 Nov

It’s been a year since Aaron and I got a date night. A whole year. The last time we went out was November 2009, when he surprised me with tickets to Trans Siberian Orchestra. We really need to make this happen more often. It’s just so hard when we’re tightly budgeted.

It’s become a priority, though. At least once a month, we will escape for 120 minutes. If we can’t afford much, we’ll just go to the mall, grab a cup of coffee and window shop. Because my husband? He likes to window shop.

Date Night!

Date Night!
Feeling oh so pretty. It’s really nice to have a reason to dress up. My hair was cooperating, too.

Date Night!

Fabulous portobello mushroom burger with roasted peppers and pesto mayo with sweet potato fries. mmmmm Around delicious bites, our conversation moved from Plato, to car struts, to stoned waitress.  I can’t even begin to express how nice it was to not have to talk in “code”.

Date Night!

Getting after dinner coffee on the way home, to enjoy in slurping silence? Bliss.

Yes! Date night! Um, I don’t really know you very well, but I’m always willing to babysit!
