Finally Back

My computer is up and running. Hooray!

Ella asks me to sing this song all the time. I walked in on her singing it to one of her baby dolls, so I asked her if I could take a video of her singing as well.

The very next evening, he was actually crawling purposely around the living room. Ella FREAKED OUT when he got into her special ponies. I’m not ready for this. Not one bit.

And then this weekend? He popped his third tooth, but not just any tooth. It was his EYETOOTH. At least, I think it is. It’s either his eyetooth or the tooth between the front and the eyetooth. But to be honest, it really doesn’t matter which one it is — he looks like a baby vampire. Which if we were rolling like Bella and Edward, his name would be Joneven (John + Steven). It really chaps my hide since I’m totally Team Jacob.

Oh well. It will take a lot more to diminish my love for this snaggle toothed boy.

Long Term Resolutions

I’m not a big fan of New Year resolutions. I feel like I’m setting myself up for failure and generally quit by March. This year, I decided to try something different. I decided to make a list of 101 things to accomplish in 1001 days. Some things are BIG. Some things are small. Some are frivolous and others are intensely personal to me. I feel motivated and encouraged already because I have a few things in progress and it’s only the end of day one! So far, I have started editing my flickr account, started Project 365, worked in my Mandela book, and sent a few emails. Yay!

Tomorrow during nap time, I’m going to add things to my Google calendar as reminders so I don’t forget things or get caught unaware. I’m so excited!

Speaking of being excited, Miles just about died laughing every time Ella walked by today. It really made my day and I manged to get a video of it. Listen and tell me if it doesn’t sound like someone put a quarter in his giggle box!

Fast break!

Life has been busy busy busy. I have a bunch of things I want to talk about but life just keeps on getting in the way! At the moment, I feel inspired to organize my kitchen spice cupboard AND work out. Neither of which ever happens. So I shall take advantage of those urges and just leave you with some videos and pictures.

My goal is to get the 4 month update for Miles done tonight! Be sure to check out my new page about Project 101 in 1001. I want to blog about that asap too! But first, my cupboard and workout.

Wiggle Your Nose!

We’re leaving my family’s house today and trekking to my Aunt and Uncle’s place in Eastern Washington to spend Thanksgiving with them. I’m hoping we survive the 3 hour drive (one way) with our collective sanity in one piece as Miles has not yet made friends with his car seat.

So to start our day out with a smile, we’ll wiggle our nose like a waaaaaabit.
